Davin Driskill

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer, Davin directs all aspects of The Bernstein Companies’ hotel portfolio.  He began his hospitality career in 1995 as the opening General Manager of a 73-key hotel in Austin, TX. Davin joined The Bernstein Companies in 1998 and after 8 years in various leadership roles across the hotel portfolio, he assumed leadership of the TBC Hotel Division in 2006. Today, he leads a team of 300+ dedicated hospitality professionals in the daily operations of TBC’s hotels across the Mid-Atlantic. In addition to the operating portfolio, Davin leads new hotel development and hotel acquisitions. His brand expertise, deep industry knowledge, and hotel design & construction experience have been instrumental in many award-winning projects, including the under-development Marriott Headquarters hotel. He received a B.S. in Economics from Texas A&M University.

Alec Sherman

Director of Asset Management

As TBC Hotels’ Director of Asset Management, Alec has been instrumental in providing both revenue producing and cost-saving strategies, resulting in increased cash flow. Alec’s role focuses on the following four areas: Increasing Profitability, Improving Communications, Creating Structure, and Advancing Corporate Growth (including Acquisitions & Development). Since joining TBC Hotels several years ago, Alec has implemented numerous programs, platforms, and developments to keep TBC Hotels financially successful and competitive in the market, while helping to grow the company internally too. He approaches each hotel as if it were his own, challenging the management team to strive for positive results. His past operational hotel experience provides him with valuable insights and helped him establish strong relationships with the GM’s and hotel staff. Alec received a Bachelor of Science from the School of Hotel Administration at Cornell University.

Christin Bell

Director of Culture & Team Engagement

With more than a decade in the hospitality industry, ranging from line-level operations, department management, and corporate leadership, Christin brings a wide range of hospitality knowledge to TBC Hotels.  Her direct impact on the hotel properties comes in many forms, including but not limited to: Training, Employee Engagement, Leadership Development, and Cultural Cohesion across the portfolio.  As a way to create a more unified and inclusive atmosphere throughout the hotels, Christin has implemented various communication and training initiatives at the corporate and hotel levels.  Christin also consistently works with the property leadership teams to ensure the TBC Culture – that already has a storied history of creating loyalty and empowerment amongst team members – continues to grow and prosper as the portfolio expands.  All efforts within Christin’s role aim to keep turnover low and retention high to increase efficiency and profitability.
